Weaving has always been a part of the economy and culture of Connecticut. In this conversation, Margaret will share how she fell down the rabbit hole of weaving history and will tell stories about the weavers and equipment she has met along the way. This session will include an armchair tour of local antique looms as well as an opportunity to see samples of reproduced cloth designed by New England weavers from over 200 years ago. No prior weaving experience or knowledge is required to engage in the conversation! Light refreshments will be served. Purchases are non-refundable but may be transferred to a friend.
